Inspiration:
In a quiet hut beside the mountain, pine resin burns slowly. From its smoke, the ink is born. The soot is carefully gathered, stirred into deer glue, touched with camphor, and left to dry under the shade of cedar.
Pressed with the weight of years, the ink must rest — curing in silence. The best ink, they say, comes not from blackness, but from patience. When finally ground, it smells faintly of smoke, and the breath of forgotten temples.
